After Cannes, TIFF bars participation of Russian film delegations

The world is taking harsh steps and sanctioning Russia in all possible ways following its invasion of Ukraine. Now Toronto International film festival [TIFF], has also announced that it will not let Russian film organizations and media outlets to participate in the event. “TIFF will suspend participation by film organizations and media outlets supported by the Russian state, as well as Russian cultural ambassadors and delegations related to our festival,” posted the organization on Twitter.
