Nationwide protests set to intensify in France over unpopular pension reforms on Thursday after talks between the French prime minister and union leaders failed to resolve the issue. On Wednesday, union leaders held a meeting with Elisabeth Borne, the Prime Minister. It was the first meeting since the government presented the unpopular pension reforms. It lasted around an hour and failed to improve the situation. In early hours of Wednesday violence clashes erupted between the Israeli police forces and Palestinians in the West Bank as they raid on Al Aqsa Mosque located in Jerusalem. The violence reported during Ramadan, holy month of Muslims and just prior to the Jews Passover. On Tuesday, India responded strongly after China has renamed 11 places in India’s north-eastern border state Arunachal Pradesh in order to make strong their claim as China consider Arunachal Pradesh as a part of South Tibet. The latest step of renaming places by China is carried out days ahead of planned visit of China’s recently appointed Defence Minister General Li Shangfu to India. The military personnel of Wagner group had raised the Russian flag over the administrative building of Bakhmut, a Ukrainian City, said head of the group. The city of Bakhmut has witness one of the bloodiest fight of the war which was started last year and in its second year. The eastern part of the city has been destroyed by the bombings. According to officials and several media reports, a thunderstorm with strong winds and rains headed toward east passed through Midwest and Southern states of United States on Saturday. At least 21 people lost their lives and multiple people suffered injuries. Airstrike over Syria……. On March 23, 2024, the U.S. conducted multiple airstrikes in Syria against the facilities which were used by the Iran-backed groups, said the U.S. Department of Defence in a release. Syria’s point of view According to Syria’s state-run media outlet, on 22nd March, an airstrike was carried out by The Israeli Air Force in the early hours of Wednesday morning at the airport in Aleppo, a northern Syrian city. India’s Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia on Tuesday told the news agency in an interview that India is not looking at increasing air traffic rights for United Arab Emirates. United Arab Emirates has requested India to increase number of seats between the both countries to about 65,000 a week from 50,000 a week.
