Despite its rigid rules for women, the Taliban is gaining their support. The Taliban, known for its atrocities on the female gender, women on streets surprisingly received a rally full of support. According to India Today, around 300 women rallied, holding slogans supporting the newly formed government in Kabul. Hezbollah affiliated fuel tanks reach Lebanon on Thursday. Lebanon, facing an economic crashdown, received a forty truck convoy with Iran generated fuel from Syria, Al Jazeera reported. The Iranian militant group Hezbollah imported eighty lorries with around four convoys into Lebanon on Thursday. BBC reported about 4 m litres of diesel reached the country dock through Syria. Semiconductors continue to slow down the production of vehicles globally. Retail sales of passenger vehicles increased by 39 per cent in August to 2,53,363 units, reported the Federation of Automobile Dealers Association (FADA). According to the Association, the sold units of passenger vehicles in August 2020 stood at 1,82,65. Not just passenger vehicles but other vehicles witnessed a rise in sales too. India’s exports registered a 45.17% increase in August 2020, making it $33.1 billion last month. The exports showed a consistent rise since April 2021.
