Hermes lawsuit over 'MetaBirkins' NFTs can move ahead

Hermes International SA was successful in persuading a federal court in Manhattan on Thursday not to dismiss its trademark action against an artist who was selling “MetaBirkins,” non-fungible tokens mimicking the French fashion house’s Birkin bags, as a result of the artist’s sales. Following a hearing on Wednesday, U.S. District Judge Jed Rakoff issued a one-page judgement rejecting Mason Rothschild’s petition to dismiss the lawsuit. Micronovae: A New Type of Thermonuclear Stellar Explosion Discovered by Astronomers 

A multinational team of scientists has discovered and identified a sort of star explosion that has never previously been witnessed, which they have termed micronovae. Researchers describe a little but strong cousin of the ordinary nova, or stellar outburst, in which the surface of certain dead stars, known as white dwarfs, explodes. RBI Increases Repo Rate To 4.40% With Immediate Effect

Governor of the Reserve Bank of India, Shaktikanta Das, announced on Wednesday that the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) had unanimously voted to increase the policy repo rate by 40 basis points (bps) to 4.40 per cent with immediate effect, following an unscheduled policy review with a goal of keeping inflation under control. UEFA bans Russia from women's Euros and World Cup, clubs banned next season
