With 232.4 million barrels of crude oil imported in, India’s reliance on imported crude oil has reached a record high of 87.3%. As per the data released by Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) of Oil and Petroleum ministry of the government of India, India’s crude oil dependency on imported sources has risen to a record high of 87.3% of the total domestic consumption.
