Summer signing Raphinha scored his first goal for the club when he headed the ball in the net at the 21-minute mark. The ball came after Lewandowski’s effort was saved. Raphinha almost doubled the lead but his curling shot only just went over the bar.
Former Sevilla right back Jules Kounde who signed for Barcelona in the summer for £42m missed the chance to score as he mistimed his header. Kounde however, played a crucial role as he assisted the next two goals.

Before halftime, Robert Lewandowski got the ball from Kounde and the former controlled it nicely from his chest before volleying his fifth goal of the season. The goal made Robert Lewandowski just the third player this century to score 5 or more goals in their first four La Liga matches.
Cristiano Ronaldo in 2009 and Radamel Falcao in 2011 are the other players to achieve the feat.
Barcelona records a comfortable win
Jules Kounde who was starting just for the 2nd time for Barcelona impressed with his play. Just five minutes into the second half, his pass to center-back Eric Garcia was headed in to make it 3-0 for the visitors.
Sevilla could not convert the opportunities. Ivan Rakitic’s shot was cleared by center-back Ronald Araujo. Youssef En-Nesyri shot was later denied by goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen.
Barcelona’s defense was calm all match as it faced a measly 4 shots on target compared to 7 on Sevilla’s. Julen Lopetegui has a lot to do as Sevilla remains winless after its 4 matches. The club lost to Osasuna and Almeria in close encounters 2-1 while it drew against Valladolid in a messy 1-1 match which saw both the teams suffer a red card each.
