Physical fitness is not the sole of being healthy and being healthy should be part of one’s complete lifestyle. Living a healthy lifestyle can help one to prevent chronic disease and long term illness.

Feeling good about oneself and taking care of your health is essential for one self-esteem and also self-image. Maintain a healthy lifestyle by performing what is suitable for one’s body.

Take care of the body

To start taking care of the mind, first, it is needed to take care of the body. Researches have time and time again shown that people who engage in healthy behaviours such as exercise and proper nutrition are less susceptible to the cognitive declines associated with the ageing process.

Studies from 2006 even suggest that practice can make one aware and protect one’s brain from shrinkage as it ages. Researches on mice in 2013 has even revealed that exercise can lead to an increase in neurogenesis or the formation of new brain cells primarily in the brain.

A study published in 2013 looked at healthy behaviour in nearly 2,300 men over thirty years. Researchers looked at the participant’s behaviour, and cognitive abilities starting in middle age tracked their progress throughout old age.

The researchers found that men who practised certain healthy behaviours were around 60 per cent less likely to exercise cognitive impairment and dementia as they age.

Exercising the body

Research showed that strengthening exercises for peripheral neuro therapy moderately improve muscle strength in people with PN. I addition, exercise to help peripheral neuropathy, when done regularly, may even reduce neuropathic pain and help control blood sugar levels to great extents.

A detailed physical activity routine includes four kinds of activities: Aerobic exercise, Flexibility exercise, Strength training exercises, Balance exercise. There is a direct correlation between a positive attitude and better health, a superior mind, greater happiness.

Some studies showed that personality traits like optimism and pessimism could affect many areas of one’s health and wellbeing. Positive thinking, which generally comes with optimism, is a crucial part of effective stress management.

A positive attitude can boost one’s energy, heighten ones inner strength, inspire others, and garner the fortitude to meet complex challenges. Positive thinking can increase life span, decrease depression, reduce the level of distress, offer better psychological and physical well being enabling one to cope better during times of hardship and times of stress.

And also, effective stress management is associated with many health benefits.

Exercising the brain

This brain exercise may at times give the most bang for the buck. Learning something new is one way to keep the brain effective on its toes and continually introduce new sorts of tasks.

In a study, researchers assigned older adults to learn various new skills ranging from digital photography to playing badminton. Then they did memory tests and matched the results of the experimental groups to control groups. 

Those who were in the control groups were performing activities like watching movies, listening to the radio. The researchers found that only those participants who had learned a new skill experienced improvement on the memory tests.

They also discovered that these memory improvements.

Good Nutrition

Good nutrition is often the first line to avoid and stay away from many diseases, including peripheral neuropathy. One of the ways to prevent neuropathy is by carefully managing any medical condition that puts one at risk.

It means controlling blood sugar levels and talking to the doctor about effective and safe treatments. This healthy behaviour includes not smoking, maintaining a balanced BMI, regularly exercising, eating lots of fruits and vegetables and consuming a less to moderate amount of alcohol. 

So to keep a better mind, start by working on your physical health and body first and going for a walk, trying to give up excessive alcohol consumption. It is assumed Some of these may be more difficult than others, but your brain will thank you for years to come.
