Recently the BJP has declared over 70% or ₹4,847.78 crores of the total ₹6,988.57 crores of assets. It declared by seven national political parties for 2019-20, according to a report released by the ADR.
The report added that the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) is a distant second with assets of ₹698.33 crores. They followed by Congress with ₹588.16 crores.
Report of Assets
The report, released on Friday, also highlights the significant increase in assets of the 7 parties, from ₹3,260.81 crores in 2016-17 to ₹3,456.65 crores in 2017-18. ₹5,349.25 crores in 2018-19, and ₹6,988.57 crores in 2019-20. The 7 parties are BJP, BSP, Congress, CPM, AITC, CPI, and NCP.
The BJP declared ₹2,904.18 crores of assets in 2018-19. While in 2019-20, it saw a 67% increase in its holdings to ₹4,847.78 crores. The Congress party saw its assets simultaneously fall from ₹928.84 crores to ₹588.16 crores. The BSP from ₹738 crores to 698.33 crores.
The report said that 44 regional parties declared assets worth ₹2,129.38 crores. With the Samajwadi Party being at the top of the list with ₹563.47 crores. It was followed by the Telangana Rashtra Samithi with ₹301.47 crores and the AIADMK with ₹267.61 crores.
One of the top 10, the Shiv Sena had assets worth ₹185.90 crores. The DMK declared ₹184.24 crores in support. The Janata Dal (United) had ₹45.094 crores.
The assets declared by Political Parties fall under six significant heads: fixed assets, loans & advances, FDR/ deposits, TDS, investments, and other assets.
According to the report, in 2019-20, 44regional parties declared total assets of ₹2,129.38 crores. With the top 10 regional parties accounting for 95.27% of this.
“In FY 2019-20, the Samajwadi Party declared the highest assets worth ₹563.47 crores among the Regional Parties. They followed by Telangana Rashtra Samiti, worth ₹301.47 crores. All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam worth ₹267.61 crores,” the report added.
In 2018-19, the highest assets among regional parties were declared by SP ( ₹572.21 crores), Biju Janata Dal ( ₹232.27 crores), and the AIADMK ( ₹206.75 crores).
ADR’s analysis
ADR’s analysis further captures the asset categories declared by the parties. “During FY 2019-20.
The National & Regional Parties declared maximum assets under FDR/Fixed Deposits which amounted to ₹5,970.59 crores (65.48% of total assets) followed by ₹1,363.87 crores (14.96%) under Fixed Assets and ₹946.57 crores (10.38%) under Other Assets,” the report said.
In India, BJP is one of the strongest parties. Surprisingly in the election of 2019, the party won by a full majority. In recent upcoming Elections, it is assumed that CM Yogi will Win once again with a full majority. Whereas, as per Samajwadi Party, the time has come. In these elections, the Samajwadi Party will defeat BJP.
BJP has deployed around 10 lakh workers with smartphones across UP for the upcoming Assembly polls to be held between February 10 and March 7 as a part of Digital Outreach.
As per the source, Five to six workers with smartphones have been deployed at each polling booth of Uttar Pradesh. The BJP has also formed its IT and social media teams at the block level in the poll-bound state.
A source in the BJP said that these 10 lakh workers with smartphones would reach out to every voter in their respective areas.
While other party leaders said that with a minimum of five members at each booth with smartphones. At the same time, there are over 10 lakh BJP workers prepared to reach out to the voters with digital content across the state.
