BJP’S great victory in the Goa election as it becomes the single largest party with the 20 seats.
It seems like the people of Goa eagerly wanted to see Parmod Sawant as their Chief Minister. Parmod Sawant won the seat from the Sanquelim. In 2017 Mr. Parmod Sawant won by the votes which had the margin over 2000 but in 2022 this margin was reduced to 1000.
Parmod Sawant defeated the candidate who was standing from the congress party named Dharmesh Saglani by the margin of over 650 votes.
Senior Party leader of the BJP said,
“The BJP will meet Governor PS Sreedharan Pillai and stake claim to form government on Thursday evening.”
Parmod Sawant visited the temple and also expressed his gratitude for his winning in his latest tweet. Parmod Sawant also talked to Prime Minister Modi ji who also thanked the people of Goa for showing their immense support to ht BJP.
CANDIDATES IN BJP’S SUPPORT
The entire following candidate came in the support of the BJP in Goa.
Candidate from Bicholin Constituency named Dr. Chandra Kant Shetye, Candidate from Cortalin Manuel Vaz and the third one is the candidate from the Curtorim Alexio Reginaldo. They all seem to coming forward to strengthen the BJP in the Goa.
AURO OF PRIME MINISTER NARENDRA MODI
It is a well-known fact that most of the votes for the BJP comes from the fan following of our respected Prime Minister Modi ji and that can also be clearly seen in the election results of 2022. Goa has also witnessed this aura of MODI ji.
One of the BJP leaders in Goa named Devendra Fadnavis said,
“People of Goa have given us clearly majority. We will get 20 seats or even 1-2 seats more. People have shown faith in PM Modi. Independent candidates are coming with us. MGP is also coming with us and taking all together, we will form our government.”
OTHER PARTIES IN GOA
Congress party secured total 11 seats in Goa. MJP won 2 seats. AAP also won 2 seats. Trinamool Congress did not win even a single seat in Goa. Goa Forward secured 1.84% of votes, NCP secured 1.14% of votes, Shiv Sena secured 0.18% of votes and the other parties secured 19.37% of votes.
