Cities of Ukraine are suffering from a disturbance in power supply after the Russian attack.
According to Ukrainian officials, there are more than thousands of towns and villages in Ukraine which are experiencing blackouts and remaining without power supply after massive Russian attacks in recent days.
These regular blackouts have caused chaos and confusion in Tehran. It is affecting telecommunication, causing a disturbance in regular day-to-day activities and also affecting the metro system. Massive blackouts have hit various cities in Ukraine, claimed to a video posted on YouTube.Ukraine suffered sweeping blackouts and water supplies were cut for 80 percent of Kyiv residents on Monday after what Ukrainian officials called another “massive” Russian missile attack on energy facilities.
After the major strikes of Russia, the blackouts in the capital cities of ukraine is causing serious problems, even though Ukrainian emergency officials are trying to fix the damage, it seems as if it will be hard as the winter is right ahead and people will be facing hard situations dealing with cold.
Officials are saying that the people of Ukraine will have to be ready to deal with a tough winter.
According to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, In the past eight days, 30% of Ukraine’s power stations had been destroyed.
“We are doing everything to prevent this from happening but, let’s be honest, our enemies are doing everything to ensure that the city is without heat, electricity and water supply and, in general, that we all die,” Mayor Vitali Klitschko said.
Some areas of the capital Kyiv have no power and water currently after recent strikes by Russia.
Ukrainian are being urged not to use electric appliances between 07:00 – 09:00 local time (04:00 – 06:00 GMT) and 17:00 – 22:00 on a daily basis.
“kamikaze” drones have killed over 9 people in the capital, north-east.
The mayor of Zhytomyr said that there was no water or power supply in the city and even in the hospitals , they are currently working on backup power. More than 11 villages in this region are also experiencing blackouts.
Streetlights and traffic lights are also not working due to blackouts.
