The Los Angeles Lakers and Milwaukee Bucks went against each other at the Crypto.com Arena for the reigning NBA Championship. Before the game, it seemed like the Previous Champions, the Los Angeles Lakers, had a good chance of winning over the Bucks Lakers LeBron James and Antony Dravis are back on the team. On the other side, the Bucks are getting efficient after every game.
An aggressive game was seen as Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 11 points in the first few minutes and started a good pace that could win over the Lakers. In contrast, LeBron James couldn’t find his rhythm throughout the entire game. The bucks had already taken a lead of 24 points in the first half.
Unexpected after the first quarter, the Bucks were led by 14 points already. Moving to the end of the third quarter, the lakers might not have enough time as they were 25 points behind, and the Bucks restrained the Lakers with ease.
Russell Westbrook was seen restless with Bucks taking up the lead over Lakers. Russell Westbrook got entangled with Giannis in the situation of the game. However, the Bucks cooled down the problem. Bucks lead by shooting 22 points by the halftime of the game.
By the start of the last quarter, James could not reach 20 points, and by the same time, Giannis had scored 31 points. Today, the Bucks played an excellent run as Giannis scored 44 points, Bobby Portis scored 23 points, Khris Middleton scored 21 points, and Jrue Holiday scored 15 points.
The lakers tried to give a tough competition to the Bucks but were a bit disappointed today, where James scored 27 points, Anthony Dravis scored 22 points, and Malik Monk scored 20 points. The Milwaukee Bucks won over the lakers by 131-116. For Bucks, it was an easy win over the lakers. James was disappointed by the game as he knows the Lakers were having a rough time.
After defeating the Lakers, the Bucks have become the best shooting NBA team today. Lakers have lost five out of seven games to fall three games below.
In contrast, Bucks won four games straight and swept two LA teams out of their way to be the defending NBA Champions. Bucks faced Clippers for their third win and won over by 137-113. To maintain the winning streak, the Bucks will face Suns next Thursday.
On the other hand, the Lakers lost to the Knicks by 7 points. The Lakers will try to win over Trail Brazers on Wednesday to stay in the Championship.
