The Indian space research organisation (ISRO) has played a pivotal role in the development and global recognition of India since its inception in 1969 ..Through its space endeavours , ISRO has become a symbol of India’s technological prowess and aspirations. ISRO’s successful missions, such as Chandrayaan and Mangalyaan, have bolstered India’s standing as a spacefaring nation.
Chandrayaan-3 launched on July 14 ,2024 and is the third lunar mission carried out by ISRO. It was launched from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh. The mission’s objective is to soft-land a rover on the Moon’s South Pole.Moons south pole has valuable resources like frozen water .It’s the most recent mission launched by ISRO .
Previous missions
