Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings are coming back to their home turf for their match against Lucknow Super Giants
After a gap of exactly 1426 days, MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings will be playing at their home turf, Chepauk today for the match against Lucknow Super Giants. The last match that Chennai Super Kings played at Chepauk was on May 7, 2019, against Mumbai Indians.
The Four-time Champions, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are all set to go against the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) for match no. six of the Indian Premier League 2024 at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai today i.e. April 3, 2024. Chennai lost their opening match to Gujarat Titans and would be looking forward to winning at their home ground with a full house of Yellow Army.
Although they ended up being on the losing end, the performance shown by the youngsters of the team was remarkable. Ruturaj Gaikwad showcased his batting ability in the opening match and became the first batter to score a half-century in the IPL 2024. The uncapped debutant, Rajvardhan Hangargekar also impressed everyone by taking three wickets in the match. Chennai Super Kings would be looking for their big names to step up and put their marquee performance in the upcoming home game to get on the winning track.

CMRL also said that they would be arranging the feeder (Shuttle) bus service from Government Estate Metro Station to the M.A Chidambaram stadium to save the time of fans. They would also be extending their Metro rail services for 90 minutes to ensure the safe travel of the fans back to their homes.
