A man in Chhattishgarh Duped 100 Women on a Matrimonial site. Farhan Taseer Khan, 35, has been arrested from Delhi’s Paharganj area on May 12 by Delhi’s Cyber Police. Farhan has alleged to dupe over hundred women by making different false profiles on jeevansathi.com.
Chattishgarh News: Farhan used to lure rich-class working women as his targets. He used to show them that he is a businessman with a net worth of 30-40 lakhs per year. A BMW car with a VVIP number plate (0005), a royal wristwatch, 9 debit cards, and other valuables has been taken from his possession.
He has defrauded around 1 crore rupees from different women around the country. He was duping them for the last 1.5 years. He has targeted women from several states like Delhi, Karnataka, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh among others.
The man originally hails from Chhattisgarh but was kept tracked down from Odisha, Kolkata, and New Delhi according to the data shared by the matrimonial site.
The case came to light after a lady doctor from AIIMS registered a case that she was befooled by a man on a matrimonial site on the pretext of marrying her. He has taken around 15 lakhs rupees from her through several transactions in the last few months. Khan has cut down all connections from her after receiving the money.
Khan used to show his luxurious lifestyle and used to travel to different cities while talking to his targets via video calls. Then, he told them he is in urgent need of money for his new business purposes. He manipulated women saying he is an orphan and a self-made man. He used to pretend as a rich bachelor who has completed his MBA from a reputed university.
On investigation, it was revealed by Delhi Cyber Police that he was just 12th pass and was married in the year 2015, and has a daughter too. He was staying with his father and sister in Odisha. The valuables received from him were said to be of his relatives.
