Components that helps in reducing diabetes?
A major component present is polyphenols, which aid in reducing blood glucose levels. It also contains antioxidants, anti-inflammatory, and anticarcinogenic properties.
However, there is no clear evidence that there is clear evidence that the components present are associated with treating diabetes.
The study looked into the relationship between Tea and type 2 diabetes
Several research studies were conducted to gain insight about the consumption. People were divided into two groups and their blood sugar levels were monitored.
At first, questionnaires were given to participants, and they were asked to fill them out according to their consumption of food and beverages.
The next step was to conduct a systematic analysis of people consuming and the impacts associated with a variety of teas.
The research finally had the results stating that people who consumed one to two cups were likely to treat diabetes by 1%. Similarly, people who did not consume were reported to have a 1% lower risk of diabetes.
Surprisingly, people who consumed four cups a day were found to reduce the risk of diabetes by 7%
Despite the merits, it is advised to consume less sugary or sugar-free. Only sugarless can be associated with reducing the blood glucose level.
