Delhi’s Most Wanted Criminal Deepak Arrested in Mexico With FBI’s Help
Deepak is one of the most wanted criminals in Delhi, has been apprehended in Mexico, and will be sent back to India later this week. The mobster was apprehended in Mexico by a special Delhi Police team with the assistance of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). A gangster has never been captured by the Delhi Police outside of India.
According to local police sources, several Delhi Police teams are currently in Mexico, and the gangster is likely to be returned to India within the next several days. In a day or two, the violent criminal will be brought to India. He is one of the Delhi-NCR’s most dreaded gangsters and escaped the nation using a false passport, as explained by a police officer.
According to a senior police officer, Pahal was detained on Monday. He had left the nation and traveled to the US. Then he was in Mexico. He was tracked down and taken into custody with the aid of the FBI. Pahal has been missing since he jumped parole in September of last year, according to sources in the Delhi Police, and he has more than a dozen cases of murder, attempted murder, extortion, and dacoity filed against him in Delhi and Haryana.
Pahal had disappeared since September of the previous year. According to the authorities, Deepak was detained in connection with a case, and was being sentenced, but was released on parole and left the country.
Delhi Gang Wars: Deepak Boxer & The Gogi Gang
According to the police, Deepak left the country using a phony passport. On January 29, he boarded a plane from Kolkata bound for Mexico using the fictitious name Ravi Antil. Authorities had set out a 3-lakh bounty for Deepak Boxer.
The Gogi gang and Pahal allegedly organized the murder to exact “revenge” because Gupta was supposedly connected to the rival Tillu Tajpuria gang, according to the police, who said they discovered this during the inquiry. Since killing a realtor in August 2022, Deepak Boxer has been hiding. Amit Gupta, a builder, was shot multiple times on a busy thoroughfare in the Civil Lines neighborhood of Delhi.
In a Facebook post, Boxer claimed to have killed Gupta and that he did so out of retaliation rather than extortion. He further claimed that the realtor was associated with the Tillu Tajpuria Gang, an opposing gang. He claimed that the money behind that gang came from Amit Gupta.
Deepak Boxer took over as the leader of the Gogi gang in 2021, following the murder of Jitendra Gogi. Gang members from the Tillu gang shot Jitender Gogi after they entered the courthouse looking like attorneys.
Criminals Escape and Encounters: Fajja, Mann, and Pahal
When Deepak released Gogi from Haryana police custody seven years ago, he shot to fame. In addition, two years ago, he assisted Fajja in escaping from police custody while he was involved in an attack on police officers at the Guru Teg Bahadur (GTB) Hospital in Delhi. In 2021, Kuldeep Mann, a notorious criminal, was allegedly released from the Delhi Police’s custody when Pahal and his cronies allegedly flung chili powder at the officers. Later, in West Delhi, during a police encounter, Mann alias Fajja was killed.
According to the authorities, he is a history buff and has been charged with numerous homicides, robberies, and extortion crimes. A shootout at a flat in the Rohini neighborhood on March 28, 2021, ended with the death of wanted criminal Fajja. On March 25, after a shootout broke out at a government hospital here, Fajja escaped from detention.
Pahal was a boxer who, according to the police, competed in numerous state and national championships before giving up the sport.
