An emergency operation was supposed to be done on August 30 by Dr. Govinda Nandakumar. But on the way, the doctor got stuck in a long traffic jam. So the doctor reached the hospital after walking for three kilometers to save the patient life . The incidents happened in Bangalore.

Many people are aware of the traffic congestion in Bengaluru. Commuters were practically unable to cross even a short distance. Getting through the hustle and bustle of daily life often becomes difficult during busy times. But even during this suffering, another picture was caught on the streets of Bengaluru.
A short video of running to reach the destination was posted by the doctor himself on his Instagram. In the video, he told a media outlet, ‘I commute daily from central Bengaluru to Manipal Hospital in Sarjapur, which is south-east of Bengaluru. That day I left home just in time for the surgery. My team was also ready, the surgery was supposed to take place as soon as I arrived. But seeing the heavy traffic, I decided to leave the car and without a second thought rushed towards the hospital.’ Dr. Nandakumar started the operation as soon as he arrived. It is learned that the operation was successful and the patient recovered and returned home from the hospital on time.
