An earthquake with the magnitude of 4.1 and 4.9 hit the capital of Nepal, Kathmandu. The temblor was mild and happened early in the morning. It was felt in the Kaski district and the areas surrounding it. The epicenter of this upheaval was Dhampus of Machhapuchhre Municipality-7. But the shock waves were also felt in Baglung, Parbat, Myagdi and Tanahun districts.Â

This is not the first time an earthquake has hit Nepal. There was a massive earthquake in 2015. This was a major tremor with 7.8 magnitude. It struck the Himalayan nation. It killed almost 9,000 people and injured more than 22,000 people. This was the deadliest to hit this seismically active region in 90 years. This was followed by hundreds of aftershocks. After 17 days, there was also another 7.3 magnitude tremor. This tremor made hundreds and thousands of people poor in over 14 badly-hit districts. The latest earthquake was a mild one but it could be felt in many central Nepal districts.Â
Recently there has been an earthquake in Afghanistan on Wednesday as well as Karnataka earlier today.Â
Thousands of people was dead the Afghanistan and hundreds are homeless. The rescue operations are undergoing. The UN and many countries are helping the Taliban controlled country.
There was a small one in Karnataka earlier this morning. It had 3.4 magnitude. Cracks on roads developed and people felt the tremor and ran out of their house. It was felt in Hassan district and surrounding areas.Â
