Tesla shareholders filed a complaint against Elon Musk and the board of directors for ignoring the toxic working environment.
Solomon Chau, a shareholder and New jersey resident filed a lawsuit against Elon Musk and the board of directors for creating a toxic working environment.
In his complaint, he said Tesla has created a toxic workplace filled with racist and sexual abuse and discrimination against its employee. He also added that this toxic working environment has created financial and social harm to the company’s reputation.
This lawsuit emerged when the investigation was going on in the other ongoing legal battle between Tesla and the state of California.
Lawsuits against Tesla
In February, the state of California filed a case against Tesla for the racial behaviour against black people in the manufacturing plant at Fremont.
It’s been stated that Elon Musk and tesla’s board members ignored many red flags. This ignorance has made many highly qualified employees leave the company and set off a series of lawsuits.
These lawsuits have created a bad reputation for Tesla. In return, these accusations and lawsuits have made shareholders worried about their investment.
These lawsuits will cost tesla millions of dollars and a bad reputation. In another lawsuit, Tesla was fined $137 million to pay to former elevator operator for blind eyeing the racism. Many other sexual abuse cases have been filed by black women, an employee, against tesla.
