EVGA will no longer be seen partnering with Nvidia, AMD, or Intel to make any graphics card as it is expected to exit the business entirely by the end of this year.
One of the most famous graphics card-making companies EVGA has stated that they will no longer work with Nvidia to make graphics cards. EVGA has mentioned disrespectful treatment from Nvidia which made the company decide to part ways with Nvidia and be out of the GPU business.
The news was flashed when the Editor in Chief at Gamers Nexus released a new video where he discussed reports with the EVGA CEO Andrew Han. The video showed that the company will not indulge in Nvidia nor with its rival AMD or Intel and will not be making GPU after the existing RTX 30-series is sold out.
EVGA has confirmed that they will be supporting the existing graphics cards which are available in the market and the customers can claim their warranties for their products. Also, the current batch of EVGA GPUs will be the last product of the company.
The detachment of both of the companies also signifies that EVGA will not make the upcoming Nvidia’s RTX 40 series GPUs. Hence all the news or leaks of EVGA graphics cards seen online last week remain to sample and will not be mass-produced.
According to the video, EVGA will not be working with Nvidia ever again to make future products such as the expected RTX 50 series even though the workforce of the company will be taken care of but the question remains how. Burke’s video showed that Nvidia’s GPUs contributed to almost 80% of EVGA’S business.
EVGA complained about the prices which were very costly including a limited customization option that made it difficult to compete against Nvidia’s first-party graphics card under the founder’s edition. The company will produce a certain number of graphics cards to replace the defective ones.
This will be a shocking moment for gamers because the collaboration of both companies making graphics cards was well-known and famous in the gaming world. The change will affect them and eventually, they have to adapt to the circumstances and the situation.
