BTS‘ JungKook: “Dreamers” The FIFA World Cup 2022’s Official Anthem Is Out Now
The video for the 2022 FIFA World Cup song “Dreamers,” featuring Jungkook and Fahad Al Kubaisi, has been released.
In the video, the BTS singer dances with the trademark whale (the BTS symbol) floating in the sky between flags. Full of scenic locations and stunning visuals, the music video is a fitting anthem for the FIFA World Cup and captures the excitement of football in various countries.
The music video opens with Jungkook wearing a white suit as he steps out of an ornate hallway covered in a glittering ceiling. He walks towards the light as the song begins. Singer Fahad Al Kubaisi appears on the ship and sings along.
In the video, Jungkook also steps into Qatar and fits into Qatar, surrounded by people of different communities and races. The song also emphasized the word “respect.” As a presentation of the host country of the World Cup, the video is interspersed with images of whale sharks. Interestingly, the whale also served as a metaphor for the BTS fans or army to remind them that they are not alone in their fandom.
Needless to say, ARMY is extremely proud of Jungkook and has already started tweeting Dreamers‘ music videos to express their happiness. One fan wrote: “He’s really cool.” “I’m so proud of him.” Another fan added, “She slayed as always.” Many other fans considered “Dreamers” a masterpiece and hailed it as the perfect song.
Many praised the scene where Jungkook stands between the flags of different countries, calling it “majestic and powerful.” “This is such a beautiful MV,” the comment read. Jungkook performed “Dreamers” without his BTS members at the opening ceremony of the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
However, the other team members cheered him on from South Korea and expressed their pride in him.
Jungkook is expected to release his solo album some time next year, before his military service. The group will reunite in 2025.
