Google CEO Sundar Pichai on Internet, Privacy and tax.

Date:

Recently the CEO of Google, Sundar Pichai, had a conversation on Internet, Privacy and Tax. In a brief interview with BBC news. Following were his opinions on the free Internet.

Sundar Pichai said, bringing to the notice that free Internet might be under attack. He further mentioned that the countries are trying to control the flow of information and restrict it.

We are adding that there has been an increase in the laws made by the countries. The regulations clearly outline ‘What is the kind of content’ that is deemed offensive that we put out there on the Internet. He also feels that the idea of ‘free internet’ is taken for granted.

Given that we live in the 21st Century, we agree that drawing rigid boundaries in the bigger picture would be considered a setback. Sunder urged the nations with ‘strong democratic traditions and values to take a stand against this. In his view, it may directly lead to the fragmentation of the Internet.

Upon asking about whether the Chinese model of the Internet is being popularised. He said the open and free Internet is being attacked, and none of their primary services and products is available in China. Without directly addressing China.

Sundar Pichai makes a powerful statement on AI and Quantum Computing.

He feels that Artificial intelligence (AI) and Quantum Computing will further revolutionise the World.

Making a powerful statement referring to these two.

“I view it as the most profound technology that humanity will ever develop and work on,” he said. “You know, if you think about fire or electricity or the Internet, it’s like that. But I think even more profound.”

He says though Quantum will not work for everything. And the things for which we do computing would always be better.

Quantum can open up various possibilities for a completely different range of solutions.

A look at the SEOs’ tech habits and privacy advice:

He encourages and advises people to adopt the two-factor authentication method for securing passwords and ensuring multiple ways of protection from his tech habits, admitting that he also changes his phone constantly to experiment with technology.

Tax remains one of the most debated topics when it comes to Google.

Tax is an issue, which is largely debated. Google faces much criticism on the topic of tax. In 2017 the company hired layers and accounts to reduce their tax obligations.

The SEO has said that now Google complies with the tax lawyers in all its countries. Google no longer follows the scheme. And is one of the worlds biggest taxpayers.

Sundar Pichai joined Google back in 2004. Who became its SEO in 2015. He is also leading its parent company Alphabet. With companies and products as diverse as Waze, FitBit and DeepMind, the artificial intelligence pioneer, he is the ultimate leader. His responsibilities at Google consist of overseeing Gmail, Google Chrome, Google Maps, Google Earth, Docs, Photos, Android, and several other products.
