In a tragic incident, an officer of DSP rank, on Tuesday, was mowed down by a mining mafia in Haryana’s Nuh district. The officer was crushed to death and his body was thrown in a dumpster.
Cause of murder.
The deceased officer is identified as Surender Kumar Bishnoi. Mr. Bishnoi received a tip about illegal mining being carried out in Nuh. When he arrived at the site for investigation and asked the dumper driver to come down, an eyewitness said the driver didn’t stop and allegedly crushed him under the truck. The driver escaped the site after the murder and a manhunt has been launched by Haryana police to nab the murderer.
Haryana police through a statement extended condolences to the grieving family and assured them that justice would be served to the courageous officer.

Arvind Kejriwal, the chief minister of Delhi, also used Twitter to criticize the Haryana government, writing:” very sad, the blatant murder of a police officer in Haryana is a result of the failure of entire government system in Haryana. How will the public be safe where the police are not safe?”
Meanwhile, Haryana CM has said the entire police force has gathered and the harshest punishment will be served to the killers of DSP Surender Singh Bishnoi. He also announced financial assistance of Rs. 1 crore to the beavered family.
