Heavy rush of Kashmiri Pandits & non-locals leaving from Kashmir. Big setback to the peace efforts of Govt after abrogation of #Article370.
It was said in the meeting of Kashmiri Pandits that now there is no other option left in front of the minorities living in Kashmir. So, they have to flee. In the meeting, all the people have been asked to gather near the Navyug tunnel of Banihal.
Incidents of target killing are happening continuously in Kashmir. These incidents have scared the Hindus living there. On Thursday, terrorists gunned down a Hindu bank manager. After these incidents, Kashmiri Pandits have now announced a mass exodus from the valley. From today (June 3), Kashmiri Pandits have announced to migrate together from the valley. From today (June 3), Kashmiri Pandits will migrate together from the valley.
After the murder of bank manager Vijay Kumar on Thursday, Kashmiri Pandits called an emergency meeting. Many important decisions were taken in this meeting. Kashmiri Pandits have decided that the areas where Kashmiri Pandits were protesting from the Valley. It will be closed immediately.
Demonstration going on for the last 22 days
Ranjan Zutshi, a protester living in a security camp in Anantnag, Kashmir, said that everyone has been protesting for the last 22 days. Our demand is that we should be evacuated from here safely. Today Vijay Kumar and the day after yesterday Rajni Bala were brutally murdered. The day Rahul Bhatt was murdered, we had said on that day that we should be evacuated from here safely. Just like we had migrated in 1990. Now everyone is fleeing in the same way. About 3000 employees have already reached Jammu. People have gone from Mattan area in 20 vehicles.
Kashmiri Pandits are scared due to these incidents
> On June 2, terrorists opened fire on a bank manager in Kulgam. Bank manager Vijay Kumar died in this attack. He was a resident of Hanumangarh, Rajasthan. Vijay Kumar was posted in Dehati Bank in Mohanpora, Kulgam. The terrorists opened fire on him. After that he died. Security forces have started search operation by encircling the area. Vijay Kumar’s father said that he was preparing a bank PO for transfer, so that he could pass it and become a branch manager, but God had something else approved.
> On May 31, a female teacher Rajnibala was shot dead by terrorists in Kulgam. She was a resident of Samba. He was murdered at Gopalpora in Kulgam. Rajni was a teacher in Gopalpora High School. She was taken to the hospital after the firing. She died during treatment.
> On May 12, terrorists shot an officer of the Revenue Department in Budgam, Jammu and Kashmir. Entering the Tehsil office, the terrorists targeted an officer named Rahul Bhatt. Rahul died during treatment in the hospital. Kashmiri Pandit Rahul was working in the Revenue Department for a long time.
It has been reported that more than hundred Hindu families have been fled from the Kashmir Valley due to the targeted killings. Also has the government, Modi Sarkar had abolished the Article 370, but in today’s Times, the Kashmiri Pandits are leaving the Kashmir Valley, which would be a big setback of the abrogation of article 370 by the BJP government.
The fear has been gripping the Kashmiri Hindus due to the targeted killings and they are at a heavy rush which can be seen at the Srinagar airport. But in an official statement of the Srinagar airport officials, they stated that, “We strongly rebut this sensational rumour mongering. We handle between 16000 to 18000 passengers every day. Today also the number of passengers is average. There is no heavy rush of minority community as rumoured by tweets. Please do not spread rumours like this”.
Also, on social media there is a huge number of post flooded and people are claiming that the government does not want to face of the problems faced by the Kashmiri Pandits. Also, the mainstream media is not covering the issue. The terrorists are daily killing number of Kashmiri Pandits and the valley has been coloured in the blood of the Kashmiri Hindus but not much work has been done by the official authorities to safeguard the Kashmiri pandits. It is also being stated that the scene of 1990 is repeating itself in 2022, where huge number of Kashmiri pandits are fled off from the valley in fear of life.
