For all the Kdrama fans it’s their dream to dress like one of the characters from their favourite Kdrama. The urge to want the whole Kdrama wardrobe is not uncommon at all. As a Kdrama maniac I wholeheartedly understand that. You unknowingly imagine all outfits for all occasions making your heart flutter. Your parents surely support this quality of yours but don’t want to preserve. And can you really blame them?
Penniless dreamers like us have a really strong delusional relationship with kdrama leads. Humorously this feature keeps our standards high and also deprives us from taking advantage of surrounding things. By this I mean we neither have the energy to search for regular styles nor boys.
One favourite kdrama female style comes from Goblin’s bride Ji Eun tak from drama Goblin. Kim Go eun portrayed role of a poor high school student living with her annoying aunt. But the directors surely had something else planned for her outfits.
This scarf from the first episode costs more than our of three months. This frayed edge scarf from MSGM an Italian brand costs nearly $101 alone. Yes, we are too broke to even afford a scarf.
This coat from fourth episode costs even more. Did it make sense to the directors to style a poor high school student in $206 Jack & Jill Women’s toggle button hooded coat? Lot of us think it didn’t but again Kdramas exists in different universe. This would surely not hurt our feelings but our broke pockets.
Another Kdrama female lead with extremely pricey outfits is Ko Mun yeong, portrayed by Seo Ye ji from drama It’s okay not to be okay.
A still from first episode wearing sunglasses by Projekt Produkt, an indigenous brand from South Korea. The high priced sunglasses did justice to her looks but cannot satiate our financial situation. Anyways love for Ko Mun yeong and moving to next look.
The price of this bag by Joy Gryson will surely raise your eyebrows. But again can we blame her for being so ultra fashionable when she is the richest children book author. The answe is No, we can’t.
Hong Cha young’s fashion from drama Vincenzo is portrayed by Jeon Yeo bin. And her looks surely don’t fail to represent her like a top class lawyer.
The boxy fit ribbed cardigan is an absolutely essential piece of clothing in every woman’s wardrobe and Hong Cha young was no exception to that. The cardigan is paired with black lounge pants and a white tee.
The button point jacket and woven straight leg pants give off a chic office look with hint of elegance. The whole piece from LVIR costs more than our seven living lifes alaltogether. Accessorising the pant suit with a wrist watch will fulfil your look.
This was our brief encounter with Kdrama fashion.
