More than 80,000 Iranians and their supporters have marched in Berlin, the capital of Germany in support of ongoing protests in Iran.
The rally held in the German capital Berlin is said to be one of the biggest rallies that have been held so far.
The protesters in the rally chanted the slogan of “Women, Life, and Liberty!”
The protests started when a 22-year-old girl Mahsa Amini was murdered by police, because of not wearing the veil properly. She was first arrested in Tehran for allegedly wearing her headscarf too loosely. then she was declared dead in custody.
After a few days, another girl named “Nika sakarami” a 17-year teenage girl was found dead just after she protested against the “compulsory veil”. She removed her headscarf showing her protest. Right after that, she was found dead, even though the officials are saying that she fell from a great height and died, it is very clear that she was murdered by the morality police.
In Iran, the number of protestors has increased tremendously. In Iran, the authorities have cut off access to the internet in several areas, but still, the videos of protests have appeared on social media somehow.
Human rights activists news agency (HRANA) of Iran estimates that more than 244 protestors, including 32 children have been killed by security forces.
