India Couture Week (ICW) 2024, organised by the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI), is as of now happening at Delhi’s Taj Palace with maestro designers introducing the best of Indian Design on the ramp.
It was day 5 of the couture week on Saturday, and designers Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna featured their assortment EQUINOX. Our very own Dhadak and Khali Peeli fame Ishan Khattar and Made In Heaven’s Tara, Shobhita Dhulipala were the showstoppers of the occasion. The show draws motivation from ‘Wintery strolls with lattice designs of antiquated metal walls, addressing spots of botanical expectation and mirroring the progressions of seasons during Pre-winter Equinox.’
Dhulipala’s modern silver lehenga and Khattar’s black power suit were the collections’ standouts for the men’s and women’s collections, respectively. When Shobita walked onto the runway, she donned a strapless bralette blouse with a plunging neckline, a lehenga, and a sequin hem, which turned up the heat. The outfit was styled with a dupatta, strapped heels, bracelets and rings. Her hair was side parted and pulled up at the back and left open, and the make-up was glossy to complete her spectacular look.
In the meantime, Ishan went in with a shimmering dark suit from their most recent collection. He was shirtless and wore glossy silk pants and a coat with padded shoulders and front button shoulder which summarized his suit. He collaborated the outfit with a black tie, rings and dark loafers. His side parted, wavy hairstyle and trimmed beard summed up his chic look.Â
“Entranced by the enchanting balance between day and night, we set out on an uncommon excursion to mesh the heavenly sorcery into our impending AW23 assortment.” The designer wrote in the post’s caption, ” Each piece of clothing in the collection changes into a wearable heavenly magnum opus, carefully created lookalikes to the groups of stars that elegance the night sky during the Equinox.”
The official FDCI page shared pictures exhibiting the showstoppers as well as the whole occasion. Internet users remarked on the duo’s pictures all over. They suggested that movies should use them together. Fierce walk, Fierce her.” ” Woah… they look hot. It would be a pleasure to see them together in a movie. Love their walk… somebody please cast them together.” fans wrote.

On that very night, designer Tarun Tahilani featured his collection ‘Eternity’, considering making immortal art, couture and craftsmanship, timeless.
“Our connection to the ancient ebbs and flows, but it is frequently lost, in a world where everything happens at a million frames per second. That connection beckons repeatedly, but when we listen to tradition’s voice, we experience something beautiful: it anchors us in meaning.” he wrote in his post. Tahilani hopes to achieve the showcase of “Indian Modern Women” and “The New Man” through couture. Because he believed that “the only star on the ramp should be the clothes,” he made the decision not to feature any celebrity showstoppers at his show.
On July 25, Kiara Advani was the work of art for Falguni and Shane Peacock’s debut execution, opening the beginning of India Couture Week 2024. Ranbir Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, and Bhumi Pednekar have walked on the ramp up until this point among numerous others, as gems for different planners. The program’s grand finale, which will run until August 2, will be hosted by fashion designer Rahul Mishra.
