1st T20I at Southampton (England)
The first T20I happened between India and England at Southampton. Indian captain Rohit Sharma
back at the field after recovering from covid-19.
Indian ex-captain Virat Kohli and bowler Jasprit Bumrah were not available for this match.
Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan opened for India after winning the toss, Rohit looked in good touch
but lately got out by Moen Ali.
Deepak Hooda, Surya Kumar Yadav, and Hardik Pandya played some good knocks and helped India
to set the target of 198 at 20 overs.
England struggled from start after Their captain Jos Buttler got out on the very first ball by
Bhuvneshwar Kumar, David Malan, Harry brook, and Moen Ali played some good knocks but
England failed to chase the target and got all out on 148.
Hardik Pandya chose the player of the match as he played a good knock and took 4 wickets.
2nd T20I at Birmingham (England)
The second T20I started with the return of Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah to the team leading Deepak Hooda
and Axar Patel out of the team.
Fans were unhappy with the removal of Deepak Hooda as he played a good knock in the previous match,
Team Indian surprised fans when Rishabh pant opened innings with Rohit Sharma.
Both Rohit Sharma and Rishabh pant looked in good touch and gave India a good start but fans
were unhappy after the wicket of Rohit Sharma when he again failed to play big innings after good
start.
Virat Kohli again failed to score big and got out on 1 run. Ravindra Jadeja helped India to reach a good total of 170 runs as he made 46 runs and missed his half-century.
England again failed to give a good start to the team and again the man of destruction was
Bhuvneshwar Kumar who gets the wicket of Jason Roy in the very first ball of the innings and got the early
the wicket of England captain Jos Buttler.
Moen Ali tried but England failed to chase the total and got all out on 121 runs.
With this win, Rohit Sharma wins consecutive 19 matches after becoming the permanent captain
and even India won all the series after Rohit Sharma’s take over as captain.
3rd T20I at Nottingham (England)
The third match series reached its last match India had already stolen the series so decided to make big
changes in the squad.
Youngsters got a chance -: Avesh Khan, Ravi Bishnoi, and Umran malik got a chance to play and
experienced bowlers like Burmah, Bhuvneshwar, and Yuzvendra Cahal got out of the squad.
After losing a squad England set a big total of 215 after a good knock by David Malan and
Liam Livingston.
Indian inexperienced bowlers failed to stop them.
Fans expecting good knocks from our best players Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli but they again
failed and got out on 11 and 11 respectively.
India lost continuously wickets from the other side but The man Surya Kumar Yadav had a
different form, he alone fighting for India to hunt down the target, he made a century and became
5th player to make a century in T20I for India and the highest Individual score for India which is 117.
Good knock by Surya Kumar Yadav but India failed to chase the target and made 198 runs in
the loss of 9 wickets and lost the match.

After winning the series captain himself came to answer the media.
One of the journalists asked the Indian captain that fans and experts from outside said “Virat Kohli is
not in the form and on the other side youngster playing better cricket than him for now so it’s a
concern for the Indian team about his form and are they gonna make him out of the team? “
Rohit targetted Kapil dev and other experts:
Rohit Sharma answered the journalist who are the experts and why even they were called experts
targetted Kapil Dev and other experts.
He mentioned that we are Inside the team and management so what’s going inside they will
manage and handle accordingly to them.
On Virat Kohli’s form He clearly vanished all the questions saying that ;
He (Virat Kohli) played good cricket for the Country for many years and just 2-3 series or a
year can’t unhide his previous works for the team, they will back the quality of Virat Kohli as he
is greatest of all time.
