The Expo pavilion is all set to showcases an exterior of 600 individual colourful blocks. The panel rotates, and the facade looks different with each rotation.

The zones are segregated into 11 primary themes – Climate and Biodiversity, Space, Urban and Rural Development, Tolerance and Inclusivity, Golden Jubilee, Knowledge and Learning, Travel and connectivity, Global Goals, Health and Wellness, Food Agriculture and Livelihoods and Water.
The Indian pavilion was inaugurated by Piyush Goyal, Minister for Commerce & Industry, Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, and Textiles.
In an interview, Piyush Goyal said that in Expo 2020, the theme ‘India on the Move’ would narrate and describe a new India rejuvenated, reinvented, and revitalized, which can convert any adversity into an opportunity.
On the ground floor, ‘India the modern’ is displayed. This includes the country’s technological development from Moon to Mars (Chandrayan to Mangalyaan) and India’s ancient wisdom YOGA and AYURVEDA.
The next floor, ‘India: The never-ending opportunity’, focuses on trade and commerce. Around 15 states and eight union territories took part in the Expo.
The second floor is dedicated to the achievements of Indian states. A logo has been specially designed for India’s image at Expo 2020.
The new logo consists of the chakra (wheel), which shows strength and progressive movement.
Apart from these, the Indian pavilion hosts a theatre, conference room, state pavilions, restaurants, souvenir shops, and many more lovely staffs.
Technology and Trend in one go
India Pavilion will also conduct numerous seminars, Industrial/B2B meets, cultural events, virtual workshops, movie screenings, debates, and competitions.
The organizers have made a cultural calendar of India occur between October 1 to March 31, including a festival of lights, DIWALI to the colourful celebration of HOLI to the tradition of Bengal DURGA PUJA, everything will be celebrated with all their glory and magnificence.
Importance of India Pavilion
For long-term strategic investment, almost 500 crores have been spent on the India Pavilion. BVR Subrahmanyam, secretary of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, stated that India is one of those countries that have permanent pavilions in EXPO 2020.
The commerce and Industry ministry believes that this move is the footprint in Dubai forever.
He also said that even after this EXPO, this is a permanent asset for India in all major trading countries.
Further, he added that Dubai is good for business, and India is ready for business, so it’s a good start for both countries.
