On 20th August 2022, the Indian Railway and Catering and Tourism Corporation announced an update on the railway schedule. 132 trains are cancelled, 30 trains changed the source station, 14 reschedule and 6 were diverted because of operational maintenance, natural disasters, and derailments.
National Train Enquiry System (NTES) requested the citizens to access the indianrail.gov/ment website for further updates on their requirements. It further mentioned that the Indian railways are the fourth largest railway network in the world and it needs proper maintenance since India is diverse in weather conditions.
