The Monster app, India’s second largest job search portal , has announced that it will now be known as Foundit in Asia Pacific and Middle East, on Wednesday . It now includes features geared towards the new age job market and will now transform into a talent management platform. It will now have a new logo with a new name and a new vision.
The rebranding was anticipated following Quess’s acquisition of Monster in 2018. Due to the epidemic, it was postponed. It has been running since 2018 in India, Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Thailand, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.
The business intends to leverage artificial intelligence (AI), data, and analytics to improve the user experience and to become “a lot sharper, focused and skill based” in future. Monster asserts that it serves more than 70 million job searchers and has 10,000 business clients across 18 countries.
New features of Foundit
The findings and suggestions that candidates get through the new platform will be tailored to their educational background, professional experience, and skill set. Other features include customised user services like mock interviews, study guides, assessments of skills (like those on Linkedin), and upskilling programmes. Additionally, the new interface will make it possible for applicants and recruiters to communicate easily.
According to Sekhar Garisa, CEO of Foundit, the pandemic has significantly changed how people work and how organisations hire. It provided the chance to observe the talent acquisition environment transform over the last three decades, giving them an unrivaled depth of insights about recruitment. Future platforms, according to him, must accommodate a very dynamic job market, skill-based hiring, and changing career objectives.
They are excited to introduce a new strategy for Monster that will enable significantly better people management outcomes as opposed to merely making it easier to identify jobs and applicants, the CEO said.
