Johnson & Johnson will stop their sales of talc baby powder products globally by 2024. They also announced to stop selling their talc product Baby Powder in US and Canada. The product drew some kind of safety lawsuits from thousands of consumers.
a movement that comes amid ongoing legal battles and years after J&J discontinued selling the product in the United States and Canada. “As part of a worldwide portfolio assessment, we have made the commercial decision to transition to an all corn-starch-based baby powder portfolio,” it said, adding that corn-starch-based baby powder is already sold in countries around the world.

After decades of selling talcum-based baby powder, J&J knew it could cause deadly cancer to unsuspecting men and women around the world. The delay in taking this step is inexcusable. ”
J&J sought bankruptcy protection for its newly created LTL Management LLC unit last year after arguing it was struggling to contain the lawsuits.
