However, the case was postponed until Wednesday afternoon. The high court has issued an interim order prohibiting religious attire from being worn to colleges.
On Tuesday, Chief Justice Ritu Raj Awasthi, Justices Krishna S Dixit, and JM Khazi began hearing the case. The Karnataka controversy has caused political tremors.
