The Karnataka government has allowed students to enter the institute, but with a restriction of them sitting in separate classes.
- The government through this act has tried to reduce the violence to some extent, but have asked all the students to wait till the HC gives out an order for this particular issue.
Following with our traditions and customs is something that we all have learnt since our childhood, and also its importance in coping up with our personality.
To dress up or to portray yourself in a certain way is something that most of us are comfortable about, but still there are a few who might not be comfortable about this thought and would surely project it to be inappropriate or indecent.
In this diversified world full of different religious beliefs and customs, people follow different traditions and wish to follow the same in their workplace as well.
With so much of diversity all around, people usually have this feeling of continuing with their customs or traditional practices wherever they wish too, irrespective of the rules and regulations.
One such issue that has been raised up recently in one of the states is more or less related to the same fact of females not being allowed to wear hijab in educational institutions, which generally proves to be incorrect and against their traditional and customary practices.
This incident took place in Karnataka, where the females were not allowed to wear hijab which is a part of their religious practice of wearing it regularly.
The clash that broke amongst the students was about the differentiation in wearing hijab to institutions, the main issue was that some were wearing blue and some were wearing saffron color, which again broke a clash amongst the people and owing to this reason the institutes have been shut for two days in Karnataka, in order to avoid any kind of violence or clash amongst the students which could lead to further trouble.
The clash that rose amongst the students also led to a feeling of differentiation amongst each other, as students wearing hijab were made to sit in separate classes, thus provoking in them a feeling of differentiation and negativity, related to the orders that had been passed before the start of the issue.
The whole incident is very much in news these days, and is also attaining a lot of criticism from people worldwide based upon how people wearing hijabs have been asked not to wear it in the institute, in-fact this incident had reached to such an extent that the students were not allowed to enter the institute and started their protest outside the institutes gate.
Based upon the situation leading to a violent clash, days after protesting the student’s wearing hijab had been allowed to step inside the institute, but still were made to sit separately in different rooms.
Thus, the government also hopes to resolve the issue completely from its roots and stabilize it to a certain level so that these situations do not occur again which could lead to some sort of an instability in the society, thereby also harming the national peace and integrity of the nation.
