Repeated Killings
A similar case was filed almost 2 years ago on february 23,at least six people were killed in what is thought to have been a gelatin explosion on a Tuesday morning at a quarry site in Chikkaballapur, close to Bengaluru. The Accident Site was visited by the Health Minister and the Minister in charge of the District. Just one month prior to this catastrophe, the Shivamogga area recorded a similar event in which six quarry workers perished in a quarry due to an unintentional explosion of a similar kind.
The continued killing of the workers in that quarry in these continuous years is still an enigma to local people living there.
