Luis Suarez: The Uruguayan striker is all set to re-join his home club and Uruguayan top-tier club Nacional.
World football was in shock after FC Barcelona sold their talismanic Uruguayan striker Luis Suarez to their direct rivals Atletico De Madrid.
At the moment, his two-year contract with the Spanish giants is over. He was looking for opportunities to continue his stay in Europe. It seems that no suitable offer has landed for the striker.
Although former Barcelona man was rumored to join several European clubs. There was a rumor of him returning to England. According to many reports, Steven Gerrad at Aston Villa was very excited to reunite with his former Liverpool teammate.
As well as there was another rumor of PSG giving re-birth to the world-famous attacking trio of MSN by adding Uruguayan to their dressing room. It seems that Uruguayan wasn’t interested in that fancy move.
There were also offers from the United States of America. The likes of LA Galaxy, DC United, and Inter Miami were keen to acquire the signature of a 34-year-old striker. The English manager David Moyes saw Luis Suarez as an alternative for their failed target Jesse Lingard.
It seems that Uruguayan has made up his mind to go back to his roots. Luis Suarez has signed a pre-contract agreement with his boyhood club Nacional. In the upcoming season, he will pile trade for the Uruguayan giants.
Luis Suarez is considered one of the greatest strikers of this generation. Whenever we talk of great strikers his name comes at the top of the list. Former Liverpool striker started his professional career with Nacional in 2005. He scored 10 goals in 27 games for the Uruguayan giants.
This is going to be his second stint with his boyhood club. After playing for them, he played for Liverpool under the famous Rafa Benitez. He was one step away from clinching the Premier League title thanks to the famous Gerrad slip that he couldn’t get his hands on England’s royal trophy. He is considered one of the best signings in the history of the Merseyside club.
With the ambition of winning the Champions League, Suarez switched to Spanish giants FC Barcelona. There he reached the pinnacle of his career by being part of one of the greatest trios in football history MSN. After that, he was sold to Atletico De Madrid.
