The next Google event, “Made by Google” which is the yearly event of Google to release its line-up of ‘Pixel’ devices and it is scheduled for October 4th and will begin at 10 AM ET / 7 AM PT (7:30 PM IST).
The expected Google devices that could be unveiled to the world are Google Pixel 8 and Google Pixel 8 Pro along with the Pixel Watch 2.
This year Google has already launched in its event ‘Google I/O event’ in the month of May, the Pixel 7A, Pixel Fold and the Pixel tablet.
This news comes up shortly after Apple made its own confirmation of their next event, which is scheduled for 4th of September where the release of the next iPhone 15 series models is expected.
The confirmation of this event was sent directly to the media by Google on August 30 in the form of invites to the event. According to a report by 9to5Google, the invitation stated that they are invited to an in-person “Made by Google” ‘s event for the introduction of the latest lineup of the portfolio of devices in the Pixel series.
To Attend the Event
This event will take place in the city of New York and will also be live streamed on “Made by Google” ‘s YouTube channel and can also be attended online via the Google store.
The AI Upgrade of Pixel 8
As already stated, the main event products of this event are the Google Pixel 8 and Google Pixel 8 Pro. At last year’s event, the pixel seven lineup was released and came with amazing hardware, upgrades and an AI-based image processing system for the cameras.
This processing system made headlines and absolute buzz in the tech industry, especially with their eraser tool of the Google smartphone. This feature could raise any object in the background without disrupting the characteristics or the other background elements of the photo itself.
The Design Stays Intact
With the coming of the Pixel 8 series, many rumors have come up online as to what the device may look like. These rumors have suggested that not much is to be expected with the overall design of how the Pixel 8 will look like as the pixel seven already came up with the brand-new visor style camera module. However, in the Pixel 8 pro, it is expected that the curved edges will be dropped and they will take an approach for a flat display and much more rounded corners.
The Possible Specs
To enhance the AI capabilities of the smartphone, the smartphone is expected to have the Tensor G3 chipset in its arsenal. The camera system is expected to have the capability to take long and short exposure staggered HDR shots simultaneously.
The pro series of the Pixel model, this year may also have a massive upgrade in its ultra wide lens. Bumping up the previous years 12 megapixel camera all the way to 64 megapixels.
Lastly, the pixel watch two is expected to release at the event as well and the rumors for the device suggest a massive upgrade to its battery life, an aluminum frame and a new real time stress tracker.
The “Made by Google“ event is shaping up to be much more promising than its competition, Apple’s event on the 4th of September, which is much earlier. The comparatively more promising upgrades to their previous additions, unlike the leaked specifications of the iPhone 15, Google has taken the lead in these rumor battles.
