PM said India has the potential to lead the fourth industrial revolution
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday said that India has the potential to lead the fourth industrial revolution. Addressing the Industry 4.0 conference at Kevadiya in Gujarat on Friday, he said that the government has taken reforms to make the country a global manufacturing hub. The fourth Industrial Revolution is as much related to new technology as it is to new thinking.
Joint Secretary, Ministry of Heavy Industries reads out PM’s message at a conference on Industry 4.0. In this, Modi said that despite being a part of the country in the past several industrial revolutions, India has the potential to lead Industry 4.0. Explaining the reason for this, he said that for the first time in recent history, we have many different factors together like population, demand and decisive governance. Industry and entrepreneurs play a vital role in making India an important link in the global value chain. We have promoted reforms and establishments to make India a technology-driven manufacturing hub of the world.
In the program, Heavy Industries Minister Mahendra Nath Pandey said that the government is taking several steps to promote law-making through Industrial Revolution 4.0. Emphasis is being given to boosting industrial growth in the country through things like 3D Printing Machine Learning, Data Analytics and the Internet of Things through production-based incentive schemes and various other schemes.
The emphasis on these issues in the conference
-Productivity should be increased through technology in business, but also the cost of production should be reduced.
-For this, emphasis was also laid on developing the skill potential of the labourers on a large scale.
-Create a business environment that reduces pollution, develops society and provides more jobs
-Recommended companies to increase the use of artificial intelligence and machine learning
-This will increase productivity, reduce the time taken and reduce the scope for error.
Consideration of subsidy according to the demand for EV
Heavy Industries Minister Nath Pandey said that in the coming days, according to which the demand for electric vehicles will increase, their subsidy can be considered afresh. In a conversation with a big newspaper, he said that at present subsidies are given to companies for selling different types of vehicles. Financial assistance is also being given under the production-based incentive scheme. The Union Minister has already flagged off 75 buses for Gujarat and 100 for Karnataka. He said that 3449 electric buses are already running in the country under the same scheme.
