In fields like 10000 m walking-run, long jump, lawn bowl, badminton, table tennis, high jump, etc the players have put an exemplary performance in Commonwealth games 2022. This time the players performed for pride, not medals; as medals followed them.

On the final day PV Sindhu, Lakshya Sen, and the pair of Satwisairaj Rankireddy/Chirag Shetty won their last games with three gold medals in badminton. Sharath Kamal won gold in table tennis men’s singles while G Sathiyan added bronze. The Indian men’s hockey team won silver. Five more medals will surely be added to the tally at the 11th Commonwealth Games 2022. Three badminton gold medal games are scheduled for India today.
The highlight was Eldhose Paul and Abdulla Aboobacker winning gold and silver in the men’s triple jump. Amit Panghal, Nikhat Zareen, Nitu and Sagar all won gold medals in boxing. The Indian women’s hockey team won bronze by beating New Zealand in a penalty shootout. The Indian women’s cricket team won silver after losing to Australia in the final.
A great ending to a great start
It was a wonderful final day for the Indian contingent at the Commonwealth Games 2022. He won four gold medals, one silver, and one bronze medal. The final day’s exploits saw India finish fourth in the medal table with 22 gold, 16 silver, and 23 bronze medals.
