Premier League club Manchester United is interested to sign Real Madrid and Brazilian midfielder Casemiro. The club’s negotiators are already in Madrid to convince the player’s representatives to a deal. Casemiro 31, signed for Madrid in 2013 for € 6 Million. He has won 5 Champions League trophies with the club as of now.
After winning the Champions League and La Liga titles last season, Casemiro is said to be comfortable in Madrid. The 30-year-old has made his mark in the last few years. He has been touted as one of the best midfielders of this generation alongside his teammates Modric and Kroos.

Manchester United is considering an offer of £ 50 million for Casemiro. Real Madrid has signed talented young midfielders Aurelien Tchouameni and Eduardo Camavinga this year. Thus if a significant offer arrives, they can sell Casemiro this summer. The deal is however thought to be a long shot from Man Utd’s perspective.
Can Man Utd convince Casemiro to join?
It is not clear whether one of the best midfielders in the world will want to leave Champions League football. Real Madrid has recently won UEFA Super Cup as well, thus it can be very difficult for United to convince the player to come to Old Trafford.
After not securing a Champions League spot, it has been tough for United to convince top players to join them this summer. And given their recent woes in the Premier League opening matches, it doesn’t seem likely United can pull off this deal. The transfer window remains open for 2 more weeks, and it will keep getting difficult for Manchester United from here on.

As earlier reported, Man Utd’s interest in Juventus Adrien Rabiot was real and they agreed on a fee worth £ 15 million. Football director John Murtough flew to Turin last week to get the deal done with Rabiot and his agent. However, the news has come that the deal is completely off now due to unnecessary high-wage demands from Adrien.
United is also linked to Brighton’s Moises Caicedo. But Brighton has no intentions to sell Moises and the deal will be tough to negotiate. Thus it is not only Casemiro who will be tough to convince but other top players as well.
