Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City has added yet another player to their already large arsenal of players. According to top transfer reporter Fabrizio Romano, Manchester City has reached an agreement with Belgian club Anderlecht to sign Spanish midfielder Sergio Gómez.
The fee will be more than €10m and closer to €15m and will be signed soon. Sergio has a good chance to be part of the City squad. In case he doesn’t, he will be loaned out to La Liga side Girona.

Manchester City has been very aggressive in the transfer window this summer. They added Norwegian striker Erling Haaland to their squad, as well as Julián Alvarez. Last month, they signed defensive midfielder Kalvin Phillips from Leeds United for £42 million and goalkeeper Stefan Ortega on a free transfer.
