On Thursday, a new Microsoft for Startups Founders Hub launched in India, offering early-stage entrepreneurs over $300,000 in incentives and credits. It will provide free access to technology, tools, and resources for entrepreneurs. The Microsoft for Entrepreneurs Founders Hub is open to all Indian startups, regardless of validation or financing.Â
The firm was urged to offer these entrepreneurs with access to a digital environment that encourages opportunities and empowers people creativity regardless of background, region, progress, or hobbies, according to the statement.Â
According to Sangeeta Bavi, head of the Startup Ecosystem at Microsoft India, “disruptive innovation in Indian companies is advancing India’s status as a major global startup hub.”Â
The Microsoft for Startups Founders Hub will assist entrepreneurs by engaging them with mentors who will give them industrial, business, and technological help as they go forward with their businesses.Â
Microsoft is also collaborating with firms like OpenAI, a worldwide leader in AI research and implementation that creates AI systems such as GPT-3 and Codex, to provide entrepreneurs with exceptional perks and savings. Access to Microsoft Learn for a personalized training for startups, as well as a number of programs for startups and unicorns, which the founders will be able to use.Â
“We’re excited to see how our new offering will help more Asian entrepreneurs have access to the technology, tools, and resources they need to develop and operate their businesses,” Bavi said.Â
India has almost 100 unicorns with a combined value of over $320 billion, making it the world’s third biggest startup ecosystem. The Department for Promotion and Internal Trade has acknowledged about 67,000 startups in the nation so far.Â

Unlocking creativity for everyone: With Microsoft for Startups Founders Hub, they envisage a startup environment that is available to all – from concept to exit.Â
Growing technology benefits: With the platform, companies may expand their businesses at their own speed with up to $150,000 in Microsoft Azure credit. As use grows, founders will be able to access more credits over time.
For example, if a founder is in the “Idea” stage and working on a prototype, they will offer $1,000 for a year. If the business uses those credits within a few months, they may request more from inside the platform, and company will promote them to the “Develop” stage for a year at a cost of $5,000.Â
Access to professional guidance and skill-building tools, such as Â

- Join the Microsoft Mentor Network to get professional comments and assistance from hundreds of experienced mentors.Â
