Mira and Shahid split their parenting duties, and she does not want to treat him like a ‘babysitter.’

Mira Rajput recently spoke about sharing parenting duties with her husband Shahid Kapoor on an Instagram live stream. The couple has two children together- four-year-old daughter Misha and two-year-old son Zain.

In response to a question from a fan about her upbringing with Shahid and Misha and Zain, Mira said, “You know, I read somewhere the other day, that said,” Don’t treat dads like a babysitter but like a father.” “It means that when the mother needs some time to herself and needs to rest, the father will not be there. The father will do what the father has to do and will not fill in for the mother because he has his role.”

According to Mira, for children, it is important to have their equation with both parents because their relationship with one parent from the other is different.

“My child is completely different with Shahid as compared to when they’re with me.” She said, “They like to do different things with him. And like to do different things with me.” Yes, of course, sometimes I have some free time, come to work, and Shahid is with the children. She added that this helps the bond between the children and their fathers and between the children and me, and we have time to recharge.
