Miss Eco Teen International: Cherisha Chanda will represent India
Miss Eco Teen International is a beauty contest that includes 55+ countries worldwide, with India represented by Cherisha Chanda.
This pageantry has been confirmed to be held in Marsa Alam, Egypt, from 4 to 11 December 2022. The Grand Finale of Miss Eco Teen will take place on 11 December, announcing the winner.
What is Eco Teen International?
An international beauty competition, Miss Eco Teen International brings together beauty contestants from all over the world representing different cultures and traditions.
Its main objective is to promote the importance of protecting our planet and marketing tourism worldwide.
Globally, this competition emphasises the wellness of the mind, body, and spirit of the candidates.
Miss Eco Teen International focuses on environmental awareness and promoting care for mother earth.
Who is Cherisha Chanda?
Cherisha is a 17-year-old aspirant from Gurugram. She is a student at GD Goenka Public School, Haryana where she is in class 12th. A science student who dreams of becoming a fashion icon one day.
Cherisha was crowned runner-up in India’s Biggest Teen Pageant, Miss Teen Diva 2021. Cherisha won the Outstanding in Evening Gown award at the Pageant. Later, she was chosen to represent India on the international platform at Miss Eco Teen.
Background
Chanda comes from a business family and has been active in environmental activities and charitable works to benefit the less fortunate. She has spoken at World Environmental Events on a number of occasions. As part of Act Now’s collaboration with the United Nations Environment Programme, she spoke at the World Environment Conference.

Hopes for the competition
When asked about her upcoming pageant, she replied, “I believe it’s every girl’s dream to represent India and I take pride in wearing the Sash of India.”
“When you represent a country of 1.4 billion, you have a lot of responsibility. Having been chosen, you need to push yourself to the limit so that you can be ready for the competition. I am honoured to represent India. My national director “Nikhil Anand” has always believed in me, and I am grateful to him. The support of my parents has been invaluable to me, and I wish to make them proud,” she added.
With the hope of winning India’s first Miss Eco Teen Crown, she is representing the country in the prestigious pageant. We wish her luck in the competition.
