While the Rahul Gandi will be visit Gujarat on 10th May for campaign launch, Arvind Kejriwal will be holding a roadshow and a rally on 11th May.
Whereas, PM Narendra Modi is most likely to visit Rajkot and Gandhinagar on May 12th or 13th.
BJP leadership from Gujarat held a two-hour meeting with Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, regarding the Gujarat assembly elections at his Delhi residence.
After knowing this the Chief Minister of Delhi and the Convenor of Aam Admi Party, Arvind Kejriwal, asked in his tweet if BJP is going to announce fresh elections in Gujarat.
He wrote his tweet in Hindi meant, “Is the BJP going to announce fresh elections in Gujarat after dissolving the Gujarat assembly next week? Are they so scared of AAP?”.
The top leadership from Gujarat present in the meeting included Gujarat’s Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, State Minister Rajendra Trivedi and Chief Principal Secretary K Kailashnathan.
The assembly polls in the state are expected to happen later this year. After their massive victory in the Punjab Assembly polls, AAP is now headed towards Gujarat.
AAP has announced that Arvind Kejriwal will be visiting Gujarat for a few days, along with this we have heard the news that Rahul Gandhi and PM Narendra Modi are also expected to visit Gujarat.
Former Congress Chief Rahul Gandi will be visiting Gujarat on May 10th for the launch of the Adivasi Adhikar Satyagraha campaign.
Both the leaders from AAP and Congress have started visiting the state which has been under the saffron party rule for nearly three decades.
Hardik Patel who came into the limelight in 2015 for the Patidar reservation agitation, was made the working president of Congress for Gujarat in 2019.
However, his post and work didn’t go down so well with the other members, whom he accused of ignoring him, but he recently dropped Congress’s name from his Twitter bio. Hence, people are speculating that he might be joining AAP or BJP.
Kejriwal will also hold a roadshow on 11th May and a rally in Rajkot. This is going to be his third visit in a month. It is also being said that PM Narendra Modi is most likely to visit Rajkot and Gandhinagar on May 12th or 13th to attend a Patidar community event.
Union Minister, Amit Shah, will be visiting the state at the end of the month.
