PNB KYC Updates (Monetary policy changes from 1st September)
Punjab National Bank has been asking its customers to update KYC (Know Your Customers) for a long time. The bank has clearly said that the last date for updating KYC is August 31. The bank informed the customers by tweeting that as per the guidelines of the Reserve Bank, all customers must update KYC. To complete this work, the bank has fixed 31 August 2022 as the last date. Â
According to the bank, if your KYC has not been updated by March 31, 2022, So get it completed by 31 August 2022. To update KYC, contact your parent branch. If you have not updated the KYC, then you will not be able to transfer money from your account. Â
LPG price change Â
Petroleum companies revise the prices of LPG on the first of every month. In such a situation, the prices of LPG may increase. If you want relief from the increased prices, then book your LPG cylinder today, you will not have to pay the new rates if you book today. Â
PM Kisan Yojna Â
The last date for e-KYC for farmers to get Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi is 31 August 2022. If farmers do not complete this work by August 31, then their next instalment may get stuck. Â
Increase in Toll Tax Â
Those who use Yamuna Expressway to travel to Delhi will have to pay more toll tax from 1st September. As per the new hike, the toll rate for cars, jeeps, vans and light motor vehicles has been increased from Rs 2.50 per km to 2.65 km. There has been an increase of 10 paise per kilometre. Â
Toll tax for light commercial vehicles, light goods vehicles or minibuses has been increased from Rs 3.90 per km to Rs 4.15 per km. The toll rate for buses or trucks has been increased from Rs 7.90 per km to Rs 8.45 per km. Earlier, the increase in toll tax of Yamuna Expressway was done in 2021. Â
Reduced commission for insurance agents Â
IRDAI has changed the rules of general insurance. Now the insurance agent will get only 20 per cent commission instead of 30 to 35 per cent. This will reduce the premium amount of the people. Â
