Mumbai:- On Friday afternoon, in his rented apartment Prabhakar Sail a witness in the Aryan Khan drug case, died of heart attack in Mahul area. Confirmation of death was reported by Advocate Tushar Khandare, while stating that Sail was at home and the family did not suspect foul play behind his death and Sail is survived by his mother, wife and two children and the family had decided to wait for his brothers to arrive from the village before the cremation would take place.
It has been observed that Sail was the personality security guard of another witness, KP Goswami in the drug cruise case in which the son of Bollywood Superstar Shah Rukh Khan, Aryan Khan was the first one to be arrested. A picture of Goswami alongwith Aryan was being posted by him and it was even seen that he is pulling his hand and taking him to the NCB office.
Aryan Khan was exempted from appearing before the Narcotics Control Bureau’s (NCB) office every Friday months after his release on bail. In the cruise drugs bust case, earlier this week a special NDPS court granted the NCB’s SIT an additional 60 days to submit its chargesheet.
Sail had mentioned that he had interacted with Shah Rukh Khan’s manager Pooja Dadlani too in his statement recorded before the DCP Zone 1. NCB initiated a vigilance inquiry and Wankhede denied all the allegations. Prabhakar Sail had filed an affidavit levelling serious allegationsof a payoff to NCB Zonal Chief Sameer Wankhede, in the drug raid that led to the arrest of actor Shah Rukh Khan’s son Ayan Khan.
