Gopal Italia, the president of Gujarat AAP and Isudan Gadhvi, the leader of the party were accused of violations of several laws pertaining to child labor, including the Juvenile Justice Act, 2015 and the Child and Adolescent Labor Act, 1986. It is the NCPCR’s position that Gujarat police need to take necessary actions in order to ensure the safety of children in that state.

As per the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR), the Aam Adami party in Gujarat is accused of child labor by the NCPCR on the 18th of August 2022. An ethical investigation was undertaken by the committee and a letter was sent to Gujarat’s DGP asking him to take the necessary legal actions against the party following the investigation.
AAP members and the leader of the AAP in Gujarat, Gopal Italia, have recently been accused of violating several codes of conduct within the party. As a result, Gopal Italia and Isudhan Gadhvi are currently under investigation along with several other members of the party.
NCPCR has published a letter that highlights a violation of Article 21 of the Indian constitution which was stated in the letter and published on its website.
