Indian Olympic gold medallist Neeraj Chopra surprised his fans with his acting skills, which came out through the new advertisement recently released by CRED- a credit card bill-payment platform.
In the newly released advertisement, Chopra portrays five characters- a movie director, a bank employee, a journalist, a marketing honcho, and a youth trying to buy a javelin.
He has been a titular hero on social media since the day of his gold achievement for India. People have seen him only as an athlete, and now everyone is amusing at his acting talents.
Twitter is flooding with memes and comments of the performance of Neeraj in the advertisement.
Neeraj recently posted the ad video on his Twitter account with the tagline of CRED- 360 Degree Marketing. By now, the video has gone viral with around 2 million views.

As the second instalment of this year’s IPL started, CRED is here with the new campaign featured by the Indian athlete, 23- years old Neeraj Chopra.
CRED made a wise choice to feature him in the advertisement, as he is the most demanding person since the Tokyo Olympics.
After the viral campaign led by Rahul Dravid at the beginning of the year, CRED brought Jim Sarbh and Neeraj Chopra for the new IPL particular campaign, and it turned out to be a great success.
The advertisement premiered on the first day of IPL to the viewers. The presence of their favourite charming athlete- Neeraj Chopra, attracts the viewers much to CRED.
The advertisement begins with Jim Sarbh interacting with the audience by explaining the highlights of CRED coins received by paying the credit card bills, which users can use to redeem various cashback and rewards. Then comes Chopra in five different roles.
The campaign was created by Tanmay Bhat, Devaiah Bopanna, Puneet Chadha, Deep Joshi, and Vishal Dayama and written by EarlyMan Film. Karan Malhotra lent his experts to set background music for this advertisement.
“C for Chopra, C for Cashback” tagline used in mid of advertisement seems to be a perfect fit.
