In a tweetstorm, Dutch MP Geert Wilders said it’s ridiculous that Nupur Sharma has outraged Arab and Islamic countries by stating the truth about the Prophet Muhammad, who married Aisha at the age of six and consummated the marriage at the age of nine. He further claimed that he had gotten numerous death threats from Muslims as a result of his support for the BJP leader.

In the midst of widespread condemnation from Islamic countries for her remarks regarding Prophet Muhammad, former BJP spokesman Nupur Sharma has found backing.
In a series of tweets, the leader of the far right made fun of Arab and Islamic countries for being upset that Nupur told the truth about the Prophet Muhammad, who married Aisha when he was six and had a child with her when he was nine.
In another tweet, he urged Indians to back the BJP leader, stating that one should never give in to Islamic terrorists like Al-Qaeda, which he describes as “barbaric.” Years ago, Al Qaeda and the Taliban put me on their terror hit list. One thing to remember is to never bow down to terrorists. “Never,” he wrote on Twitter. He also said that he has received many death threats from Muslims who want to kill him because he supports Nupur Sharma. “My message to them is simple: go to hell.” You have no morality. We fight for the truth. He stated, “We stand for freedom.”
Al Qaeda in the Subcontinent (AQIS) made a threat against India on Tuesday, saying that they are ready to set themselves on fire in Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Bombay, and Delhi to “fight for the dignity of our Prophet.”
“Saffron terrorists should now await their end in Delhi and Bombay, as well as in UP and Gujarat,” the threat message said.
The statement says that they won’t be able to take refuge in their homes or in fortified army cantonments.
The BJP suspended Sharma and fired the media chief of its Delhi unit, Naveen Kumar Jindal, on Sunday, as the dispute over their alleged offensive remarks about the Prophet Mohammed erupted, with a number of Muslim countries summoning Indian envoys.
Sharma responded to her suspension by saying she respects and accepts the party’s decision.
The BJP has issued a statement stating that it respects all religions and firmly condemns disrespect to religious figures.
